Sophia Grace

Hailing from Britain, Sophia Grace works as both a singer and an actress while serving as one half of the duo Sophia Grace & Rosie. Her arrival came in 2003 in Essex, England. Public notice first arrived after she uploaded an online clip of herself alongside cousin Rosie McClelland—born in 2006—delivering a rendition of Nicki Minaj’s “Superbass,” which quickly spread widely. Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres noticed the footage and brought the pair, aged eight and five at the time, onto her program for a live performance. Those appearances turned into ongoing visits that included a regular segment featuring the two interviewing celebrities over tea. Additional screen credits arrived soon after, among them a guest role on Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat and lead parts in the 2014 straight-to-DVD feature Sophia Grace & Rosie’s Royal Adventure. Grace issued the pop single “Best Friends” in 2015. The follow-up track “Girl in the Mirror,” which included rapper Silentó, surfaced the next year.
