Danielle Bregoli, better known as Bhad Bhabie, first attracted notice as a rapper and social media figure whose bold, irreverent delivery stood out. After gaining attention as the “Cash me outside girl” from a 2016 Dr. Phil episode, she turned the meme status surrounding her phrase “Cash me outside, how bou’ dah?” into a hip-hop path that landed her on the Billboard Hot 100 with “These Heaux” and produced the 2018 mixtape 15. Additional releases included the 2019 track “Bestie” alongside Kodak Black and Megan Thee Stallion plus 2020’s “Do It Like Me.” In 2021 she started her Bhad Music imprint and debuted it with the single “Miss Understood.”

Born in Boynton Beach, Florida, in 2003, Bregoli grew up mainly with her mother following her parents’ separation during her infancy. At age thirteen she joined her mother on a troubled-teen segment of Dr. Phil, where she confronted a hostile crowd by suggesting they settle matters outside, though her pronunciation rendered the line “Cash me outside, how bou’ dah?” Early 2017 footage of the exchange spread rapidly online, spawning widespread memes and cementing her “Cash me outside girl” identity. Capitalizing on the exposure, she moved into rap by guesting on tracks from rising trap artists such as Kodak Black, Tee Grizzley, and Lil Yachty. Her first official single under the Bhad Bhabie name, August 2017’s “These Heaux,” entered the Billboard Hot 100 and established her as the youngest female rapper to debut on the chart; shortly afterward Atlantic Records signed her.

Late that year she delivered her initial Atlantic material with “Whachu Know” and “I Got It.” The follow-up single “Hi Bich” earned gold certification and later appeared in a remix featuring YBN Nahmir, Rich the Kid, and Asian Doll. March 2018 brought “Gucci Flip Flops” with Lil Yachty, after which she launched a tour. That summer she issued “Trust Me” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and “Yung and Bhad” with City Girls, then released her debut mixtape, 15. In 2019 she returned with “Bestie” featuring Kodak Black. Citing earlier trauma and prescription-drug dependence, she entered a month-long rehabilitation program in June 2020. Upon completion she surfaced with the standalone cut “Do It Like Me” and inaugurated her own Bhad Music label, which issued further non-album singles including 2021’s “Miss Understood,” a track that climbed to number eight on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart.
