Versatile Florida rapper and singer/songwriter Kamillion blended R&B vocals with Southern-styled rhymes, moving from studio sessions into the spotlight through anthems centered on sex positivity and female empowerment. Early in the 2010s she contributed songwriting to Diddy, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, and Rihanna, later shifting focus to her own solo path that featured the 2013 Future-assisted debut single “Mr. Moneybags” and the 2017 viral track “I Heart Banana.”

Originally recording under the name Alja Kamillion, the artist raised on Jacksonville’s northside first gained industry footing in the early 2010s before stepping back to refine her artistic direction. She demonstrated her pen with Diddy Dirty Money, Trey Songz, Jordin Sparks, and Rihanna, then resumed solo work in 2013. Alongside a feature on Donell Jones’ “Closer I Get to You,” she dropped the official debut single “Mr. Moneybags” with Future plus the IAMNOTARAPPER mixtape, then followed with 2014’s “Blowed.” Additional singles arrived through 2017—“Drippy Sauce,” “Beep Beep” with Mista Mo, “Lil Bih,” “Got Real,” and the cheeky anthem “I Heart Banana.” Produced by Bangladesh, the latter became a viral favorite that broadened her reach. The following year she released the home-state anthem “Florida Lit,” succeeded in 2019 by the bounce-flavored “Bend Yo Byke.”
