Lola Brooke

Rapper Lola Brooke emerged from Brooklyn by carving her own lane through commanding verses and commanding stage presence. Her initial independent drops paved the way for widespread attention once multi-million-stream tracks such as “Don’t Play with It” and “You” landed on the 2023 debut album Dennis Daughter. The 2024 Jeremih duet “No One Else” followed soon after.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Brooke showed an affinity for music by age eight. She entered professional recording in her early twenties, channeling the spirit of Meek Mill and Foxy Brown into her own approach. After inking a deal with the independent New York imprint Team80, she issued her first singles in 2017. Tracks like 2018’s “Bipolar” and 2020’s “Options” attracted notice, yet the 2021 Billy B collaboration “Don’t Play with It” ignited major momentum, racking up tens of millions of streams and marking her first release under Sony subsidiary Arista. She kept issuing material and hitting stages, expanding her reach via a guest spot on Flo Milli’s 2023 single “Conceited,” her own “So Disrespectful,” and a 2023 remix of “Don’t Play with It” that featured Latto and Yung Miami. That November she unveiled her first full-length project, the 12-track Dennis Daughter, which included the Bryson Tiller-assisted single “You” and the French Montana cut “Pit Stop.” A deluxe edition of Dennis Daughter appeared in 2024 alongside the Jeremih collaboration “No One Else.”
