Lightskinkeisha, a brash and unfiltered rapper, transitioned from sporadically uploading understated clips of her rhymes on social platforms while chasing modeling work to committing fully to music. Her debut single, "Weather," arrived in 2017, its blunt, confrontational, and endlessly confident delivery drawing widespread notice. Additional singles paved the way for the 2018 mixtape That's Just the Bottom Line, followed by further projects such as 2020's Clones and 2021's Break the Bank.

Born in Decatur, Georgia, in 1994, she spent her formative years in Atlanta. While leveraging social media in pursuit of modeling, she occasionally shared rapping footage, then escalated her musical efforts in 2017 through initial single releases. Tracks including "Cash Shit" and "Treadmill" showcased her unrepentantly brazen style, cocky rhymes, and trendy production. She promptly joined L.A. Reid's Hitco Entertainment in 2018, which issued the ten-song That's Just the Bottom Line that December, incorporating appearances by Coca Vango, BlocBoy JB, and B. Smyth. The next year brought the singles "Hey Lightskin" and "Atlanta," the latter featuring Stevie B. Both Talk That Talk and Clones emerged in 2020, compiling earlier singles with fresh material; the latter included the popular "B.R.A.T.," which contained a guest verse from Blac Youngsta. In 2021 she delivered the collection Break the Bank, highlighted by the single "Freaky Dancer" with '90s rap legend Trina.
