Tabatha Robinson records as DreamDoll, a colorful and outspoken rapper who first drew attention via social media and cast appearances on the unscripted series Bad Girls Club and Love & Hip Hop: New York. She entered the music industry in 2017 by issuing the EP Life in Plastic, a collection of trap productions laced with pop sensibilities. A second installment followed in 2019, after which she obtained a major-label agreement and expanded her audience with Life in Plastic 3, released in 2022.

Raised in the Bronx, Robinson had been tending bar at a strip club when producers invited her to join the sixteenth season of Bad Girls Club. She later appeared in a supporting role on season eight of Love & Hip Hop: New York. She joined Gwinin', the label headed by fellow cast member DJ Self, and debuted on the imprint with the May 2017 single “Everything Nice.” Four months afterward, just before the season-eight premiere of Love & Hip Hop, she delivered the seven-track project Life in Plastic that featured Maino on “Slay.” After moving to District 18, she released Life in Plastic 2 in 2019 with guest verses from Lil’ Kim and cupcakKe. Guest spots on records by Fredo Bang and Hitmaka preceded several 2020 singles that began with “Who You Loving?” featuring G-Eazy and Rahky, continued with the Fivio Foreign-assisted “Ah Ah Ah,” and included her appearance on Rah Swish’s “Watchu Like.” The 2021 tracks “Tryouts” and “Oh Shhh” each exceeded a million streams as DreamDoll aligned with Warner, and she extended the series in 2022 by recruiting Tish Hyman and French Montana for her third EP.
