Biography
Nashville-based pop/rock singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Brooke Waggoner issued her debut EP, Fresh Pair of Eyes, independently in 2007. That same year she contributed vocals to Kyle Andrews’ EP Find Love, Let Go. Swoon Moon Music brought out her first full-length album, Heal for the Honey, in September 2008, an effort the “post-evangelical” magazine Patrol later selected as the year’s finest “faith-inspired” release. She next delivered the self-produced Go Easy Little Doves on October 6, 2009; the album enjoyed strong digital traction, prompting extensive touring that drew wider notice through appearances on NPR’s Mountain Stage and placements in television programming. A DVD titled And the World Opened Up surfaced in 2010. While assembling songs for a third album, she collaborated with Jack White, performing on his 2012 solo debut Blunderbuss. Waggoner accompanied White on the road for the remainder of 2012, then issued her own third album, Originator, in early 2013, supporting the release with numerous festival dates and music videos. Her fourth album, Sweven, arrived in January 2016.
