Biography
Angel Taylor first gained experience performing at coffeehouses across Southern California, where she developed a sound fusing mainstream pop and rock with introspective singer/songwriter balladry. Weeks before starting her freshman year of college, she reached out to producer Mikal Blue, whose prior credits included work with marketable songwriters Colbie Caillat and Brendan James. Blue responded with interest, bringing her to New York City to help secure a deal with Aware/Columbia Records. The pair then collaborated on shaping her songs, which first surfaced on the 2009 debut album Love Travels.
