Biography
British alt-rock outfit Bull pursue a wide-ranging take on indie rock, shifting their sonic textures and rhythmic pacing to shape irregular pop numbers typically paired with clever, inwardly focused lyrics.
Tom Beer on vocals and guitarist Dan Lucas assembled the band in 2011, later adding drummer Tom Gabbatiss following an encounter with him in Thailand and completing the lineup by enlisting bassist Kai West, a devoted supporter known for repeatedly climbing onstage during their concerts. Across most of the 2010s the group devoted itself to songwriting and live performances, finally issuing its first album after ten years with the 2021 release Discover Effortless Living on EMI.
