Biography
Before turning 13, Caroline Costa had already logged substantial experience on the French teen pop circuit by entering the Junior Eurovision pre-selection, appearing with the Big Bang Jazz Orchestra, and serving as an opening act for Patrick Fiori. Selected in 2007 for Pop System, the mixed-gender act formed for Canal J’s children’s series Iapiap!, she contributed to the group’s Top 20 success with “Laissez-Nous Dire” before the lineup disbanded. The following year she placed second behind fire juggler Alexandre in the La France a un Incroyable Talent final, then issued the singles “Qui Je Suis” and the duet “Je T’ai Menti” with Norwegian YouTube star Ulrik Munther; both tracks paved the way for her 2012 debut album J’Irai, the same year she began hosting the Teletoon+ program Kids 20.
