C.H.A.Y.

Originating from Florida, electronic music producer C.H.A.Y. fuses house, techno, electro, and EDM into a vibrant, high-energy blend crafted expressly for club play. Christopher Fratt, born and raised in Orlando, started creating music young by studying drums and piano, then moved toward electronic production. He introduced the C.H.A.Y. project in 2017, sharing free tracks online while honing his craft through early sets in sparsely attended clubs until attention arrived. Refusing restriction to any single style, he worked across tech-house, electro, and EDM, which broadened his reach. Netlabels including Discovery Project, Bodhi Collective, and Audiophile Deep soon began releasing his material. The first major break arrived when Dirtybird signed the single "Who's That?". He frequently teamed with fellow Orlando producer Dead Space, resulting in "Talkin'" appearing on Toolroom's London Underground 2016 comp and "Shaded" on Mau5trap's 2019 We Are Friends, Vol. 8. Mau5trap later added C.H.A.Y. to its roster and issued the EPs Travel Far in 2019 and Your Interpretation in 2020.
