Biography
Cinema Bizarre surfaced from Germany in 2007, fusing glam, goth, and new wave textures together with matching hairstyles while breaking through via the plaintive hit "Lovesongs (They Kill Me)." Kiro, Strify, and Yu first crossed paths in 2005 at Animagic, the anime convention staged yearly in Berlin. Because each already played music, the three decided to form a band as the obvious next step. Adding Luminor and Shin completed the Cinema Bizarre lineup, which adopted an edgy, gothic appearance drawn from Japan's flamboyant Visual Kei scene. Their debut album, Final Attraction, arrived in October of 2007 through the Island label.
