Clubfeet

Clubfeet, an alternative dance group known for its relaxed, melodic, and ethereal style, consists of musicians from both Melbourne, Australia, and Cape Town, South Africa. The lineup includes Sebastian Cohen on guitar and lead vocals, Montgomery Cooper handling keyboards, programming, and backing vocals, Vivian Croft on drums, Bennington Le Bruce also on keyboards and programming with backing vocals, and Yves Roberts providing bass and backing vocals. In 2009, the act made its debut via New York's Plant Music label, issuing the track "Teenage Suicide (Don't Do It)," which was newly composed yet clearly referenced the 1989 film Heathers. One year later, they signed with Illusive Sounds, an affiliate of Mushroom Australia, and put out their debut full-length album titled Gold on Gold. This collection contained the aforementioned single alongside a rendition of James' composition "Say Something." The year 2013 saw the arrival of their follow-up effort, Heirs & Graces, which carried a darker atmospheric tone.
