Jerick Quilisadio, a Filipino-American who produces tracks, pens songs, and sings vocals, performs under the Cold Hart name and helped establish the influential emo-rap collective GothBoiClique. Along with fellow members of the crew, Quilisadio fuses atmospheric beats shaped by trap with hazy guitar riffs drawn from emo, darkwave, and pop-punk, pairing them with lyrics centered on depression, drugs, and heartbreak. Among the group’s most prolific contributors, he works both as a producer and featured artist on projects by peers such as Wicca Phase Springs Eternal and Lil Peep while maintaining an active solo career. Beginning in the early 2010s, Quilisadio issued dozens of instrumental beat tapes under the Jayyeah alias and numerous albums, mixtapes, EPs, and singles as Cold Hart. He joined punk mainstay Epitaph Records in 2021 and issued the full-length Every Day Is a Day that year.

Born in Long Beach, California in 1994, Quilisadio drew primary inspiration from rappers Chief Keef and Lil B along with alternative and punk figures including the Cure, Morrissey, Nick Cave, and Rancid. He first produced music under the TrillKvlt name during the early 2010s before launching instrumental albums as Jayyeah in 2012, exploring territory between cloud rap, witch house, and trap. That same year he co-founded GothBoiClique alongside Wicca Phase Springs Eternal and Horse Head; the name came from a beat Quilisadio created and forwarded to Wicca Phase. He spent a short time in the TeamSESH collective, and every early GBC member also belonged to the short-lived Thraxxhouse. Beyond his Jayyeah beat tapes and production output, Quilisadio adopted the Cold Hart moniker for solo and guest appearances, issuing a steady flow of digital albums, mixtapes, and tracks. Greater notice arrived with releases such as 2017’s Downer and the more pop-punk-oriented 2019 set Good Morning Cruel World, a collaboration with YAWNS. The exposure led to his Epitaph deal, which yielded Every Day Is a Day, an album largely produced by YAWNS, in 2021.
