Biography
In 2008 Nic M and Anja Emma formed the Vancouver, BC-based duo Cosmetics, whose music consists of sultry, minimalist tracks styled after Italian disco and nodding to Glass Candy, Chromatics, and Haunted Graffiti. Captured Tracks signed the pair in early 2010, after which the label promptly issued their first 7" singles, "Soft Skin/Black Leather Gloves" and "Sleepwalking/The Cries." Rumors circulated that a full-length album would appear later that year.
