Biography
Hailing from San Diego, Craig Goldy has built a reputation as an American guitarist whose career encompasses performances alongside Dio, David Lee Roth, Giuffria, Rough Cutt, and Budgie, as well as numerous additional projects. His entry into Dio occurred in the late 1980s, following earlier guitar roles in Rough Cutt, Project Driver, and the melodic rock band Giuffria. Apart from those Dio recordings—specifically Dream Evil (1987), Magica (2000), and Master of the Moon (2004)—he has issued several solo albums and, in 2016, joined drummer Vinny Appice, bassist Sean McNabb, and vocalist Chas West to record the self-titled Resurrection Kings. One year later Goldy reunited with former Giuffria singer David Glen Eisley on the Frontiers release Blood, Guts and Games.
