Biography
After relocating to Los Angeles with aspirations of achieving fame through music, Cree Summer launched her singing career in the manner typical of aspiring performers. In 1999, her debut album appeared via WORK records. Street Faerie blends a range of feelings and genres, encompassing the shifting highs in "Soul Sister" and "Deliciously Down" alongside the charged blues found in her collaboration with Lenny Kravitz on "Mean Sleep." Her inaugural tour consisted of performances at the 1999 Lilith Fair.
