Dallas Moore

An outlaw country performer who calls Cincinnati home, Dallas Moore blends gritty energy with classic roots. Long-haired and often seen astride a Harley, he absorbed the sounds of vintage Elvis Presley and Hank Williams 45s during childhood; the result is a hard-rocking style of country propelled by his gruff vocals and marked by equal admiration for Waylon Jennings and Lynyrd Skynyrd. A jazz scholarship carried him through college, after which he collected multiple honors at the Cincinnati Music Awards.

His first album, My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys, appeared in 1991. Subsequent releases included the studio set One More Ride and an unnamed live recording. The fully acoustic Untold Stories reached listeners in 2000. Moore has performed alongside idols such as David Allan Coe and Willie Nelson.
