Biography
Emerging on the French electronica circuit in 1994, Dax Riders—whose name references the Honda Dax ST-70 motorbike—announced their arrival with the track "Faster Than a Dax." Cédric Azencoth, performing as Bad Ced and already recognized for staging Paris’s first House Party in 1991, joined forces with Olivier Ruel, known as Daxman, whose path had begun in a glam/rock group before moving toward hip-hop. Argentine self-taught multi-instrumentalist Nicolas Berger-Vachon, born in 1975 and recording as Erman, completed the trio in 1999. The same year saw the release of their debut album, Dax. Two years later came Backintown, which contained the hit single "People," also included on the soundtrack for Laissons Lucie Faire.
