Biography
Formed during the opening years of the nineties in Finland, Decoryah brought together singer and guitarist Jukka Vuorinen, bassist Jani Kakko, and drummer Mikko Laine. After securing a contract with Metal Blade, the band issued its debut album Wisdom Floats in 1995, a release that also incorporated keyboard work from Jonne Valtonen. Two further projects followed: Fall Dark Waters in 1996 and the Breathing the Blue EP in 1997. Across these efforts the group explored atmospheric symphonic heavy metal distinguished by intricate arrangements and cryptic lyrics, yet none achieved meaningful traction and the trio ultimately disbanded.
