Diablo Swing Orchestra

Formed in 2003, the Swedish avant-garde metal group Diablo Swing Orchestra fuses jazz, swing, classical, and progressive rock with the amplified force of Marshall stacks. The ensemble playfully claims origins stretching to the 1500s. Initially assembled as a six-piece, the musicians released the EP Borderline Hymns that same year, then delivered their debut album The Butcher's Ballroom in 2006. Their second album, Sing Along Songs for the Damned & Delirious, followed in 2009. The lineup grew to eight members ahead of Pandora's Piñata in 2012. Pacifisticuffs surfaced in 2017 as the band’s first release on the Finnish metal label Spinefarm Records.
