Biography
Diamond Nights, an outfit from New York, includes Morgan Phalen on vocals and guitar, Rob Laakso on guitar and synthesizers, Seth Rumsey on bass, and Tim Traynor on drums. This freewheeling indie rock foursome came together in 2003 and produces a brash, hard rock-inspired, song-driven sound aimed at devotees of Queens of the Stone Age, Priestess, and Jeff Buckley. Diamond Nights released their first Kemado record, the Once We Were Diamonds EP, in March 2005. Their full-length Popsicle followed in September. European dates alongside Mando Diao extended into spring 2006.
