Dion Lunadon, recognized for his intense and forceful performances onstage, originates from New Zealand where he was born as a guitarist, bassist, and singer. Since the beginning of the 1990s, he has led or performed with multiple groups in punk, garage, and noise rock styles, such as the D4 and A Place to Bury Strangers. His first solo record under his own name came out in 2017, and the intense and energetic Beyond Everything followed in 2022.

He entered the world as Dion Palmer in Auckland and took up the guitar during his teenage years, joining various groups throughout the 1990s and 2000s, notably Nothing at All along with the D4, which put out a pair of albums via the renowned New Zealand imprint Flying Nun Records. Following the D4's dissolution in 2006, Palmer relocated to New York City and adopted Lunadon as his surname. There he established the True Lovers, issuing their self-titled album in 2010. Subsequently he joined A Place to Bury Strangers on bass, contributing to their releases Worship from 2012 and Transfixiation from 2015, in addition to multiple singles.

During a pause in APTBS touring, Lunadon cut his own garage punk solo album featuring Robi Gonzalez from his band on drums plus Blaze Bateh of Bambara. The track "Com/Broke" served as an early preview in 2016 on Infinity Cat, the label run by JEFF the Brotherhood, before the full LP emerged in 2017 through Agitated Records. His departure from A Place to Bury Strangers became official in 2020, after which he began a fresh solo project. The 2022 album Beyond Everything allowed Lunadon to harness the unfiltered power that has guided him throughout his career, resulting in a dynamic and creative collection performed with drummers Blaze Bateh from Bambara and Nick Ferrante of The Black Hollies. The year 2023 opened with his intense standalone release "Secrets."
