Hailing originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Drex has made Texas his home base ever since completing a stint in the United States Army. Working as an independent artist, he shifts between romantic R&B and relatable rap across his releases. A multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter shaped by a musical household, he penned his first song at age seven. Although he spent a short period in a group, Drex ultimately chose to go solo. His catalog features Sex Sells (2009), the rap-oriented Intuitions (2014), and Emotions (2014). He has also recorded jingles.
