Dropgun

Russian electronic house duo Dropgun specialize in high-energy, dance-oriented pop and club sounds. The pair came together in Tomsk, Russia during 2013, consisting of producers Mike Martinov and Ilyas Kozhahanov. They first drew notice by uploading remixes online without any identifying details. Positive responses encouraged them to step forward publicly, at which point they issued a string of well-received singles highlighted by their 2014 collaboration with DVBBS on “Pyramids” featuring Sanjin. That release climbed to the Top 30 on the Belgium dance charts and expanded the duo’s following. Additional tracks arrived in quick succession, among them 2015’s “Cobra” alongside Tony Junior, 2016’s “Together as One,” and 2017’s “Little Drop.” The same year also brought a partnership with Natan Chaim on “Really Mine” plus the Coma EP (The Remixes). In 2018 the single “My Way,” recorded with Asketa and Jessame, was released.
