Electrico

Hailing from Singapore, Electrico is an English-language pop/rock group that has built a worldwide following. The lineup originated in 1996 with Dave Tan handling vocals and guitar, Desmond Goh on bass, and William Lim, Jr. behind the drums; Amanda Ling, who plays keyboard and percussion, along with guitarist Daniel Sassoon, came aboard in 2003. Their first full-length release, So Much More Inside, appeared in 2004 through Universal Music across Singapore, Australia, Thailand, and Indonesia, generating the hit singles “I Want You,” “Runaway,” and “Good Time.” The follow-up, Hip City, arrived in 2006 and met with comparable success, led by the global favorite “Love in New Wave.” Sassoon departed in 2008, just prior to the arrival of the third album, We Satellites.
