Glasgow indie electronic quartet Errors—comprising Greg Paterson on guitar and synthesizer, James Hamilton on drums and synth, Simon Ward handling programming and synth, plus Stephen Livingstone on synth, bass, and guitar—joined the roster of Mogwai’s own Rock Action imprint. The four-piece came together in 2004 and made their live debut at Glasgow’s School of Art. Rock Action issued the 2006 EP How Clean Is Your Acid House? along with a pair of 7-inch singles, after which the band delivered three studio albums: 2008’s It’s Not Something, But It Is Like Whatever, 2010’s Celebrity Come Down with Me, and 2011’s Come Down with Me. Their steady release pace continued with the 2012 full-length Have Some Faith In Magic, an album that moved away from the left-field instrumental emphasis of their earliest work by foregrounding more heavily processed vocals. Beyond supporting Mogwai on tour, Errors have shared stages with Explosions in the Sky and Death from Above 1979.
