Biography
Formed in Gainesville, Florida, the post-rock quartet the Mercury Program brought together guitarist and vocalist Tom Reno, bassist Sander Travisano, keyboardist and vibraphonist Whitney Travisano, and drummer David Lebleu. Their first release was the single "Lights Out in Georgia," which preceded the self-titled debut LP that appeared in 1999. From the Vapor of Gasoline came out in spring 2000, and All the Suits Began to Fall Off followed the next year.
