Biography
Producer José Luis Ayala, sibling of Latin music celebrity Ramón Ayala (aka "Accordion's King"), formed the onda grupera outfit Estruendo. Six young musicians delivered the group's contemporary image and refined style upon its arrival in the traditional Mexican music scene. The ensemble's international debut, the Tejano Music Awards-nominated album Rumbos a las Estrellas, contained the hit single "Que Voy a Hacer." Estruendo backed the 12-track record via its first U.S. tour in early 2002.
