Biography
Experience 7 formed as a Guadeloupian ensemble during the cadence era of the 1970s under the direction of Guy Houllier and Yves Honore. The pair also held the role of studio band directors at the Henri Debs studio in Point … Pitre, Guadeloupe. Although their sound surfaces throughout numerous successful Debs studio productions, the albums issued under the Experience 7 name often prove inconsistent, reflecting an admirable drive to explore territory well outside the standard zouk approach.
