Biography
Emerging from Argentina as an all-female pop vocal group, F.A.N.S. took shape during the fifth season of the television competition Operation Triumph. Twenty aspiring singers shared a house and vied against one another across four months of televised performances, until the winning lineup was revealed in March 2013. The quartet—Macarena Pérez, Carla Dorto, Joanina Deangeli, and Lula Rosenthal—then secured a contract with Sony Music Argentina, which issued both the debut single “Spaceship” and the accompanying album We Took Off, released as Despegamos in select territories, later that same year.
