Balancing serene atmospheres alongside infectious tunes whose words touch on cosmic enigmas and the magic of adolescence, Flowerovlove has surfaced as a rising British artist who steadily cultivates an devoted audience through an expanding catalog of ethereal tracks and extended plays.

Joyce Cisse entered the world in London as one of four siblings whose mother and father had relocated from the Ivory Coast to flee civil conflict. Drawn to a wide range of artists spanning Tame Impala and Blondie, Cisse launched her Flowerovlove project while still a teenager amid the 2020 COVID lockdown, once her brother Wilfred took up beat production and urged her to contribute vocals.

Three singles appeared in 2020, followed by the favorably received 2021 EP Think Flower, after which the trap-infused cut “Malibu” delivered her initial brush with widespread online attention. She also dabbled briefly in modeling, walking in presentations tied to London and Paris Fashion Week. The subsequent releases “Saturday Yawning” and “I Love This Song” proved even more melodic, shaping the direction of A Mosh Pit in the Clouds, the EP that surfaced in 2022.

At that stage Cisse steered Flowerovlove toward unadorned pop, attracting notice from figures such as Zane Lowe and securing a performance slot at Glastonbury Festival in 2024. Further singles kept circulating widely, among them the romance-driven standouts “A Girl Like Me” and “BOYS.” Her third EP, An Ache in My Tooth, arrived later the same year.
