Biography
Frausdots, an ensemble drawing from '80s pop influences, centers on vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Brent Rademaker together with vocalist and guitarist Michelle Loiselle. Rademaker previously played in Further, the Tyde, and Beachwood Sparks alongside his brother Darren, who later joined the shifting roster of Frausdots participants. Additional contributors to the project have included keyboardist Carl Tapia, vocalist Mia Doi Todd, and musicians drawn from Rooney, the Warlocks, and Brian Jonestown Massacre. Roger Brogan, Exiquio Talvera, and David Baum completed the group’s live configuration. The band issued its first album, Couture, Couture, Couture, in 2004 via Sub Pop.
