Biography
U.K. DJs, remixers, and producers Jon Pearn and Michael Gray began collaborating during the early '90s, yet their first major breakthrough arrived only with the 1996 release "America (I Love America)." The British pair quickly established themselves among the dance-music scene's most sought-after remix teams, registering worldwide club and dance-chart success through Masters at Work's "To Be in Love," Powerhouse's "What You Need," Duke's Top 20 hit "So in Love With You," and Jennifer Lopez's chart-topping, top-selling U.S. CD/12" single "Love Don't Cost a Thing." Full Intention introduced their own imprint, DTension, in 1999; the New York-based Strictly Rhythm handled distribution, and the label's inaugural offering was "Spanish Hustle."
