Having launched his recording career under the name Future Troubles, the dancehall vocalist born Warren Gladstone Williams later adopted the moniker Future Fambo and scored a major success with “Bloodclaute Song.” Raised in Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica, he first gained notice in the mid-’90s by repeatedly winning a local talent competition performing “Kung Fu.” Issued on the Roof International label in 1994 while he still recorded as Future Troubles, that single paved the way for additional releases on Shocking Vibes, Digital-B, and Ghetto Youth Productions. A 1996 collaboration with Bounty Killer yielded the VP Records single “Kill a Sound Boy.” Continued songwriting, production duties, and further joint recordings culminated in his 2006 decision to perform as Future Fambo. Under the new name he enjoyed success with “Forget About It” and “Wrong Hall,” followed in 2010 by the Beenie Man collaboration “Rum & Redbull.” Additional tracks appeared on imprints such as Freddie McGregor’s Big Ship, and in 2015 he released “Bloodclaute Song,” a dancehall favorite that prompted remix contributions from Sean Paul, Beenie Man, and Demarco.
