Biography
Ghostland Observatory emerged from Austin, Texas, by fusing electro, rock, and funk while drawing influence from Daft Punk and Prince. The project unites vocalist and guitarist Aaron Behrens with producer and beat-maker Thomas Turner. Their debut performance occurred on July 4, 2004, after which the following year brought the release of their first album, delete.delete.i.eat.meat. Paparazzi Lightning appeared soon afterward in January 2006.
