Biography
Glenn Lyse, a singer and guitarist born on April 4, 1974, in Stavanger, Norway, first gained widespread attention through his appearance on the fifth season of the Norwegian television talent competition Idol 2007. After claiming first place, he secured a recording agreement with Sony BMG, paving the way for his initial commercial breakthrough. The single “Days Go By,” released that same year, ascended to the summit of the Norwegian singles chart in the closing week of 2007. Several months afterward, Lyse issued his debut full-length album, the English-language Come Closer (2008), which climbed into the Top Ten and yielded the additional hit “Guilty.”
