Great Minds

In 2013 producer Dr. Moon, a follower of Wu-Tang Clan's RZA, brought veteran MCs Jiggy Djé, Sticks, and Winne together to create the Dutch hardcore rap supergroup Great Minds. Anticipation for the collective's first album grew through a series of online videos that captured the recording sessions, accompanied by the single "Doag" that featured Kleine Viezerik and Yung Felix. TopNotch issued the self-titled debut album, a collection of razor-sharp, no-nonsense hip-hop, in June 2013. The project earned widespread commercial and critical acclaim, reaching number two on the Dutch album charts—the highest placement ever achieved by a Dutch-language hip-hop album.
