Biography
Grinder Blues originated from a partnership linking the award-winning sibling blues-rock duo the Bihlman Brothers—drummer Scot Bihlman and guitarist Jabo Bihlman—with dUg Pinnick, virtuosic King's X bassist and vocalist. The trio assembled the project after first collaborating on production music for film and television. Their style fuses blues foundations with nervy, esoteric, and forward-thinking modern rock flourishes. In fall 2014 the group delivered its eponymous debut album on Megaforce Records; Miles Fulwider (Wynton Marsalis, Norah Jones, Willie Nelson, Chick Corea) handled production duties.
