Texas native Hannah Jadagu blends ethereal bedroom pop with low-key guitar jangle, generating nationwide attention through a string of independent singles issued during high school. A 2021 agreement with Sub Pop produced her first EP, What Is Going On?, which appeared later that year, while her debut full-length Aperture, also her initial professional studio effort, surfaced in 2023.

Raised in the Dallas suburb of Mesquite Springs, Jadagu started tinkering with music production early on. The hobby evolved into a serious pursuit in her teens, prompting her to capture songs at home with basic software and minimal equipment. Drawing from bedroom-pop acts such as Yeek, Her's, and Gus Dapperton, she shaped atmospheric pieces including “Pollen” and the dreamy “Unending,” which she then posted to streaming services.

After relocating to New York, she secured her Sub Pop contract as a freshman at New York University. Her label introduction came in early 2021 via the lush, introspective single “Think Too Much,” featured on What Is Going On? that April. “All My Time Is Wasted” followed later in the year, succeeded by “Say It Now” in 2022. Aperture, tracked in France alongside co-producer Max Robert Baby, was released in 2023.
