Biography
Gospel jazz saxophonist Harold Rayford channels the complete spectrum of his inner feelings directly to audiences through masterful playing. His first project, Soul Music, appeared in 1994 on Tyscot Records. The second album, Soul Concern, contains praise-filled selections such as "One Sweet Day," "I Will Go in Jesus Name," and "Get Up and Praise Him." Breath of Life, the third release, presents tracks including "Your Grace and Mercy" and "My Soul's Been Anchored." Rayford has drawn on the talents of several accomplished musicians for his sessions, among them guitarists Keith Phelps and Willie Davis, keyboardists R. H. Duncan, vocalists Hollie Jacks and Rodnie Bryant, and pianists Ezra Bufford and Craig Tyson.
