Biography
Formed in Washington, D.C., the noise pop outfit known as the Heartworms featured Archie Moore on vocals and guitar, previously of Velocity Girl, alongside his partner Trisha Roy handling vocals and bass while also performing with Belmondo, supplemented by various musicians such as Chris Norborg, the drummer from Chisel, and Chip Porter from Sabine. Their origins trace back to 1994, when they released the initial single "Thanks for the Headache" via the stylish Darla imprint before the year concluded. Their first full-length album, Space Escapade, came out the following year in 1995, with the Enemies EP arriving in 1996.
