Indian

Originating in Chicago, Illinois, the doom and sludge metal group Indian assembled during 2003. Recognition arrived swiftly through their 2004 EP God Slave. Their opening full-length album, The Unquiet Sky, surfaced in 2005 and was succeeded by Slights and Abuse in 2007. Vocalist and guitarist Dylan O'Toole, bassist Ron Defries, and drummer Bill Bumgardner soon regrouped to shape the subsequent recording, which Seventh Rule issued in 2008 under the title The Sycophant.
