Diplo

Born Thomas Wesley Pentz, Diplo has built a multifaceted identity as a recording artist, producer, DJ and entrepreneur. Across two decades in the industry he has joined forces with leading global performers and delivered live shows on every continent. A thirteen-time Grammy nominee who has taken home the award on three occasions, he has launched several record labels and publishing ventures while establishing himself as the driving force behind Major Lazer, the LSD project alongside Sia and Labrinth, Jack Ü with Skrillex, and Silk City with Mark Ronson. Under his own name he continues to operate as an international presence. He is now developing Diplo’s Run Club, a traveling series of five-kilometer races paired with compact music events headlined by Diplo himself. The first two events each drew more than ten thousand participants in Seattle and San Francisco and ranked among the ten largest 5K races in the United States last year; the initiative is scheduled to reach eight cities throughout 2025.
