British producer Troy Henry, widely recognized under the moniker TroyBoi, creates electronic music that draws from multiple cultural influences while crafting productions and remixes for artists spanning rap, R&B, and pop alongside his own releases. Hailing from South East London, England, he surfaced in the early 2010s and remains chiefly linked to trap, even as his catalog has shifted across electro-house and mainstream dance-pop. Standout productions include Little Mix’s “Lightning” and Serayah’s “Get No Better (2.0),” and he has delivered remixes for Danny Brown’s “Smokin & Drinkin,” Missy Elliott’s “WTF [Where They From],” and ZAYN’s “Like I Would.” On his own, he achieved notable traction with forceful tracks such as “O.G.,” the Flosstradamus-assisted “Soundclash,” and the Mad Decent release “Afterhours” featuring Nina Sky with co-production by Diplo. In 2017 he unveiled his first full-length album, Left Is Right, a bass-driven set that paired him with Healthy Chill, Nefera, Y.A.S, and Ice Cube. The following year he dropped the EP V!BEZ, which included David Stewart on the cut “Spooky,” then followed it later in 2018 with V!BEZ, Vol. 2.
