Ghastly serves as the alias adopted by David Lee Crow, a DJ, producer, and dedicated follower of EDM whose output fuses house, trap, and dubstep into a dense, confrontational style that has drawn endorsements from Skrillex, Diplo, and Steve Aoki. Several of his tracks and remixes have accumulated substantial streaming numbers, among them joint efforts alongside Mija & Lil Jon, Getter, and Matthew Koma, while his independently issued first album, The Mystifying Oracle, surfaced in 2018. Later singles carrying a metallic edge arrived in the form of “Psycho” (with Moonboy) in 2019 and “Blackout” in 2021.

Crow grew up on an Arizona goat farm and first experimented with metal before discovering inspiration in the flashing lights and visceral low-end frequencies of electronic dance music. After moving to Venice Beach and adopting a nomadic existence in his van along the West Coast, he secured employment and adopted his performing name as Bassrush Resident DJ at Exchange L.A., simultaneously placing multiple singles with OWSLA, Buygore, Mad Decent, and Dim Mak; those releases encompassed “Miami Connection” alongside Jauz and “Crank It” with Mija & Lil Jon. In 2017, after delivering a well-received remix of Zomboy’s “Lights Out,” he issued his own dark yet danceable original “Spider Symphony” and worked with NGHTMRE and Matthew Koma. Appearances by Barely Alive and Crankdat featured on the self-released full-length The Mystifying Oracle in 2018. He kept issuing forceful tracks such as “This Song Scares People” and the 2019 Moonboy collaboration “Psycho,” together with brighter cuts including “I Have Ur Back” and the 2020 release “Help” (with Karra). His 2021 material comprised the bombastic trap number “The OG” and the hard-hitting dubstep cut “Blackout.”
