Los Angeles native Valentino Khan has built a catalog spanning multiple strains of EDM and hip-hop, among them trap, hardstyle, future house, and moombahton. Attention first arrived in 2012 through beats he crafted for T.I. and B.o.B, after which an array of prominent EDM DJs began championing his work; soon afterward he placed tracks on Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint, Skrillex’s OWSLA—home to the 2014 EP In Khan We Trust—and Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak. Although the bulk of his output leans toward the more aggressive wing of the EDM spectrum, he has also issued radio-friendly dance-pop cuts, notably the 2017 Sean Paul collaboration “Gold.”

Beginning that same year, Khan’s credits surfaced across numerous mainstream rap and EDM projects, highlighted by a batch of officially issued remixes. Chief among them was his take on Gent & Jawns’ “Holler,” which appeared via Mad Decent’s Jeffree’s subsidiary; he and Will Bailey also dropped the joint single “Rukus” on the same label. Additional production work that year included the hard-hitting album track “Play for Keeps” from B.o.B’s Strange Clouds and T.I.’s “Loud Mouth,” which featured 2 Chainz.

Over the following several years Khan’s profile remained consistently visible. He contributed to Diplo’s Major Lazer as co-producer of the Bruno Mars-featured single “Bubble Butt,” while also delivering remixes for Skylar Grey, the Bloody Beetroots (featuring Paul McCartney), and M.I.A., among others. Original material surfaced on OWSLA with the 2014 In Khan We Trust EP and on Dim Mak via the Tittsworth collaboration “TNT.” The 2015 release “Deep Down Low” gained traction among DJs and entered the Belgian singles chart; 2016 brought the trap cut “Slam Dunk,” a Skrillex team-up featuring Kstylis. In 2017 he issued the solo singles “Hello” and “Pump” alongside “Gold” with Sean Paul, followed in 2018 by Mad Decent releases “Lick It” and “Feel Your Love.” That year’s remix slate encompassed Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa’s “One Kiss,” the Diplo–French Montana–Lil Pump track “One Kiss” featuring Zhavia Ward, and Sean Paul and David Guetta’s “Mad Love” featuring Becky G. Khan returned in 2019 with the singles “Pony” and “Novocaine,” the latter a joint effort with Kayzo.
