Parisian DJ Martin Bresso, performing under the moniker Tchami, crafts a style he calls "future house," fusing smooth, uplifting deep house with more extravagant EDM flourishes. Initially recognized for remixes and sample-driven productions, he later scored notable chart placements through vocal collaborations with Kaleem Taylor and Stacy Barthe, whose contributions often explore somber emotional territory.

In 2013 he helped shape three cuts for Lady Gaga’s album ARTPOP while simultaneously launching his own original material and remix work, beginning with the free digital release of “Promesses” (featuring Taylor) alongside “Shot Caller.” These tracks later surfaced as official stand-alone singles and performed strongly, “Promesses” reaching the U.K. singles chart’s Top Ten. “Untrue” surfaced the next year, followed in 2015 by “After Life” (with Barthe) and “Missing You” (with Taylor and AC Slater). After a several-month hiatus, Tchami resurfaced in 2016 via the singles “SIAW” and “Prophecy,” the latter a joint effort with Malaa; the pair also joined forces with DJ Snake and Mercer for the Pardon My French tour. The subsequent year brought the Revelations EP, which showcased joint tracks with Luke James and Taiki Nulight. Two further EPs, No Redemption and Aurra/Shades, appeared in 2018. His first full-length project, Year Zero, reached listeners in October 2020 and included appearances by Gunna, ZHU, Suburban Plaza, and additional guests.
