Moksi

Dutch production duo Moksi specialize in bass-heavy electronic dance music rooted in late-'90s U.K. garage influences. Samir and Diego first crossed paths at a house party before deciding to collaborate as a unit. Their initial release, the track "Getting Higher," drew notice from fellow Dutch pair Yellow Claw, leading Moksi to join the Barong Family roster. The label issued their debut EP, Brace Yourself, in 2015, the same year the duo performed their first live set at Tomorrowland. Their second EP, The Power of Moksi, came next, with the third installment, The Majestic, following in 2016. Subsequent remix work for DJ Snake and Hardwell paved the way for a joint EP with Barong Family artist Chace. Teaming with the Shanghai DJ, they crafted the Connections project, highlighted by the single "Lucky" featuring vocalist Yade Lauren. The double-sided EP To the Sound/Legit surfaced in 2018, preceding Moksi's first full-length album, The Return of House Music, in 2019.
