Barely Alive

Barely Alive formed as an EDM duo from Massachusetts, crafting a high-velocity style that fuses elements of dubstep, trap, and drum'n'bass. Their first productions appeared in 2013 as digital singles issued on Dirty Duck Audio and Adapted Records, alongside remixes created for Getter, Virtual Riot, Astronaut, and additional artists. In 2014 the pair joined the roster of Disciple Recordings and delivered the four-song EP Lost in the Internet during the opening months of that year. The project quickly gained traction on the dance-music retail platform Beatport, which later ranked the duo as its second best-selling dubstep act of 2014, prompting tours across the United States and Europe in the company of Datsik and Trolley Snatcha. A steady stream of further singles and EPs appeared, among them joint tracks with Zomboy and Splitbreed, before the duo issued their first full-length album, We Are Barely Alive, on Disciple in October 2015.
